Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking Multi Craft Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Florence, Alabama. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment. You will work primarily with conveyors, presses, mixers, and ovens. Candidates must have experience with 480-volt and 3-phase motors.Hard Skills

Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install, and repair electrical parts, equipment, and systems

Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance

Maintain accurate and complete records, document all work performed appropriately

Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor

Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve processes

Adhere to good housekeeping practices

Familiarity with electrical wiring, 3-phase motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

Understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate, determine root cause, and repair

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Florence, Alabama.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a manufacturing setting that is not climate-controlled and is known for being dated, dusty, and dirty. The facility manufactures composite tile, including a luxury line and products for large retail customers. The team includes 350 employees, and there are ongoing capital projects to bring in new lines and set new expectations from management. The work schedule varies by team: EAST team works 3pm-11pm M-F, with some flexibility required, and some Saturdays, while the WEST team works 6pm-6am, Sun-Tues or Tues-Thurs. Training will occur during the day shift for a few weeks before transitioning to the respective shifts. Candidates must be able to explain Lock Out Tag Out procedures and be open to working off-shift.
