Job Description SummaryThis Global leadership role will support and be part of MR Resonance module Innovation Team. This role will successfully lead, coach and manage a team of 15 mechanical and electrical development engineers and technicians between in Florence, SC and Monterrey, MX.We will consider relocating a candidate for this role.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

Requires specialized knowledge of electromagnetism in an applied setting.

Strong team leadership experience, coaching and mentoring.

Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

BS Degree in STEM plus 10 years overall experience plus at least 4 years experience leading other engineers and technicians.

Define, manage and track budgets, plans and resource allocation.

Awareness of LEAN, Agile and milestone based project methodologies.

Desired Characteristics

Masters Degree or PhD plus 7 years experience of overall engineering experience + 4 years of team leadership experience.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

An ability to lead technically complex efforts in electromagnetic and mechanical coupled systems

Demonstrated scheduling and delivery of output, the successful candidate will need to drive innovation, support released products and oversee the build of low volume high complexity gradient coils in a purpose built facility.

146,880.00 - 220,320.00 USD plus we offer an variable bonus plan.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
