Advanced Health Diagnostics is a newly opened Laboratory Service within Marion County and is actively seeking committed personnel to join the team in providing excellence in every aspect of our operations.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring seamless patient experiences. and being active within our Clinical Trials programs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting nursing team with clinical procedures
Taking patient vital signs and recording medical histories
Preparing examination areas and maintaining equipment
Performing basic laboratory tests and documenting results accurately
Providing patient education and support as needed
Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
The successful candidate shall:
Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient care and confidentiality
