Job Title: Farm Worker
Location: Morven, NC 28119
Payrate: $15.91 an hour
Schedule: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Seasonal: Mid-October to February
Position Overview:
The Greenhouse is seeking dedicated Farm Workers to join our team in Morven, NC. This role involves planting and growing a variety of flowers, trees, shrubbery, and other plants for distribution and sale to garden centers. As a Farm Worker, you will be engaged in various stages of the growing cycle, from seed planting to cultivation, to preparing plants for sale.
Key Responsibilities:
Planting and tending to various crops
Performing fieldwork, including soil preparation and cultivation
Applying/removing frost blankets and other protective measures for crops
General labor duties related to greenhouse/farm work
Requirements:
Previous farm work or general labor experience preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Willingness to work outdoors and with plants throughout the growing season
