Yahweh Ministries Covenant Church in [Dillon County, SC] is seeking a passionate and reliable Audio/Video Systems Operator to join our team! This is a part-time gig perfect for anyone excited about audiovisual work and serving in a Christian church environment.
(Entry-Level to Expert). No expert-level experience required—a willingness to learn and a heart for worship will do!
What You'll Do:
Operate live sound for Sunday services, including mixing audio for worship music, sermons, and announcements (using a audio mixer, PA speakers, microphones, and stage monitors).
Manage video switching for live streaming and in-house displays (switching between cameras, presentation slides, and pre-recorded content).
Set up and test AV equipment before services to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Assist with basic troubleshooting during services (e.g., addressing feedback or video sync issues).
Support occasional special events (e.g., holiday services, weddings, or community events) as scheduled.
Schedule & Commitment:
Sundays: 4-5 hours (typically 8 AM - 1 PM, depending on service times).
Additional opportunities for paid work at other church events throughout the year.
Who We're Looking For:
Passionate about audiovisual technology and serving in a church setting.
Comfortable with basic tech (e.g., laptop computer, audio mixers, video switchers, or streaming software)—we’ll train you!
