Seeking an organized, dependable and loyal individual with a love for numbers. We are a small trucking company in need of a dedicated bookkeeper to help manage our financial tasks. Must have QuickBooks Desktop experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable: review customer invoices for correctness, receive customer payments, make daily deposits
- Accounts Payable: Post and scan vendor invoices, review invoices for possible errors, pay invoices when due
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Maintain filing systems for documents
- Order office supplies as needed
- HR files and maintenance
- Oversee application process for perspective truck drivers
- Payroll: Process weekly payroll for employees
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills
