Job Description SummaryThe Assembler- Gas Turbine Manufacturing will position, erect, adjust, fit components, fabricate conduit/ tubing accessories, and assemble flange to flange piping systems and other components for gas turbine units.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:
Assemble heavy-duty gas turbine components
Wire gas turbine units and controls, troubleshoot and correct problems with wiring connections, and perform hand-machining operations as required
Assemble/disassemble testing equipment and other required components, including gas, air, and hydro connections
Interpret drawings, material lists, wiring lists, diagrams, schematics, planning and methods specifications, and related shop documents
Manually lift sub-components and utilize jib, floor crane, hoists, position components and subassemblies, bolting, and torqueing to required arrangement and specifications
Make necessary alignment and adjustment, maintaining and recording required Quality Control data
Use various equipment to perform job duties, including: assembly stands, fixtures, hand and power tools, miscellaneous pneumatic and electric powered wrenches, sanders, grinders, standard and special mechanical measuring devices, gages, scaffolding, cranes, hoists, fork trucks, scissor lift, ladders, standard and special lifting fixtures and devices, manual and hydraulic conduit and tubing benders, and related shop equipment
Will have ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in position of responsibilities
Must be a flexible team player and participate with problem solving and continuous improvements
Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment using electrical, pneumatic, and manual hand tools
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical/electrical operations, for example: bending/threading conduit or tubing, interpreting schematics, or fastening hardware, fittings, or pipe systems
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
18 years of age or older
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment
Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or 100% of a shift (with the exception of breaks), with or without reasonable accommodation

Assembler B:Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $23.668 - $24.876 . This position is also eligible for shift premium when you work on an off shift i.e. 2nd or 3rd shift.
