Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Greenville, South Carolina. The role involves managing financial transactions, processing payments, and producing financial reports in a fast-paced environment. This is an ideal position for individuals with experience in QuickBooks, HVAC, and Bookkeeping.Responsibilities: Maintain and process various financial transactions, ensuring all records are up-to-date Handle payments and conduct banking activities efficiently Generate financial reports as required, providing accurate and timely information Reconcile financial reports to third-party records such as bank statements, ensuring all data aligns Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and bookkeeping tasks Monitor and update customer accounts as needed Leverage HVAC knowledge to better understand and manage financial transactions Act as a point of contact for any customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service Maintain a high level of confidentiality with customer information and financial records Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary Experience in HVAC systems management is desirable Must possess strong bookkeeping skills and experience Ability to maintain accurate records of all financial transactions Capable of processing invoices, record payments, and track expenses Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations and producing financial statements Ability to handle payroll, make purchases, prepare invoices and keep track of overdue accounts Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
