Hogan Construction Group is seeking Project Managers for our Upstate, SC location. Project types include small to medium construction projects in Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Primary and Higher Education, Government, and Cultural Markets.SUMMARY OF POSITIONResponsible for the planning, scheduling, procurement, and document control for multiple construction projects in various stages.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professionally represent Hogan as the interface with the Owner and the Design Team.
Collaborate with the estimating team during the bidding and preconstruction phases of projects.
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Complete subcontractor and vendor procurement by completing buyout, scope of work review, writing subcontracts, and following insurance & bonding policies.
Research and recommend a resolution for document interpretation issues, potential conflicts, and errors.
Manage the processes for all submittals, RFIs, change order proposals, owner billings, timesheet management, subcontractor & vendor invoices, and monthly reporting requirements.
Prepare timely prime contract pay applications, including the verification of work-in-place quantities to validate billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers.
Produce accurate monthly cost projections which forecast total estimated costs at completion.
Create and monitor project schedules and produce progress updates.
Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings.
Assist the Superintendent in the oversight of QA/QC standards and safety requirements by actively engaging in the project site progression.
Represent Hogan Construction Group at OAC meetings and ensure the completion and distribution of accurate meeting minutes.
Oversee the creation and completion of punch lists, record drawings, and closeout documents.
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A four-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management for Commercial Construction projects between $5 Million and $15 Million in value.
The ability to manage and mentor a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Engineer in the day-to-day tasks of managing construction projects.
Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions, preferably Procore.
Experience using Project Scheduling Software.
Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.
