Description We are searching for a Deskside Support Analyst to become a vital part of our IT team. This role involves delivering technical support to end-users and ensuring the efficient resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues. The job is based in Greenville, South Carolina, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Provide both onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues. Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates. Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software. Manage and document support requests using a ticketing system. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Offer training and guidance to end-users on best practices and IT policies. Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure all devices are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required. Requirements Proficiency in Computer Hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong Technical Support skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues. Familiarity with Ticketing Systems, preferably with the ability to quickly learn new platforms if necessary. Experience with the ServiceNow Platform, including logging, tracking, and resolving issues. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, updates, and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing high-quality support to end-users. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Proven ability to work well in a team, collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve issues. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing work effectively to meet deadlines. Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge as technology evolves. Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks would be advantageous.
