Part-time Supply Chain SpecialistGreenville, OHWe are looking for a part time Supply Chain Specialist to join our team on site in Greenville, OH. This will be day shift, roughly 25 hours/week.Come create chemistry with us!BASF’s Coatings division is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, managing supplier and transport relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This is a key role in optimizing the supply chain, leading to improved operational efficiency and cost savings. The efforts in managing inventory and supplier relationships directly contribute to enhanced customer satisfaction and service levels. By streamlining processes, they help the organization respond swiftly to market changes and serve our customers better!You create chemistry by

Monitor andreview inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

Work with logistics teams to optimize transportation and distribution strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Utilize data analysis tools to identify supply chain inefficiencies and recommend improvements to processes.

Collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals.

Address and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays, shortages, or discrepancies in inventory.

If you

BA/BS degree in Business, Logistics, or related experience

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Supply chain planning particularly in a multi-channel supply chain environment

Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical skills and data analysis

Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter

Works independently under general supervision

Strong MS-Excel skills

Strong SAP skills required
