As a System Simulation engineer, you will use dynamic simulation models to design and validate the mechanical loading, electrical power output, stability, operability and/or acoustics performance of the current and future generations of GE Vernova Wind Turbines. System Simulation engineers are also involved in the dynamic simulation model development to better represent the wind and the wind turbine as well as the computing platform that enables simulation execution at scale. Lastly, System Simulation engineers are also involved in resolving issues that can arise in an operating fleet of over 50,000 units.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
Perform simulations to assess the operation of the wind turbine and key performance attributes
Make design tradeoffs between the loads, stability, operation, and power output of the wind turbine
Assess and understand customer requirements in order to drive value creation for GE Vernova’s customers
Perform analysis of field abnormalities to understand root cause
Contribute to the development of scripts, engineering design aids, and/or software based on programming proficiency level
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, or Wind/Renewable Engineering

Programming experience (Python or Matlab preferred but not required)
