Body Shop Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone with body shop technician experience who wishes to be part of a winning- culture team that sets the standard for Heavy Truck Collision repair in upstate South Carolina and the surrounding area. Our expertise includes Class 8 trucks, Fire trucks, and all types of Emergency vehicles. Duties include but not limited to:
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Prior to starting a job, thoroughly review each repair order to fully understand the scope of the work to be done. If
further clarity is needed or a supplement is required, speak directly with the estimator.
Perform an initial teardown of vehicle.
Ensure you have the correct parts from the parts department to complete the job.
Identify parts for cut-in and edging.
Follow procedures in application of under-coating, corrosion protection, seam sealer, weld through primer/ lubricants.
Re-assemble painted vehicle and painted parts.
Perform a final quality check and review of work order prior to sending the vehicle to the detail department.
