Responsibilities
Perform assigned property maintenance tasks in a timely manner to meet production levels and customer service standards.
Operate hand tools and maintenance equipment safely, including mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers, and more.
Mow, edge, weed, and water flower beds and turf areas as needed.
Apply fertilizers and pest control techniques properly and timely.
Prune shrubs and report any damaged trees or missing plant material.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
Accurately report time worked according to company procedures.
Interact professionally and courteously with crew members, supervisors, and other company personnel.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Maintain appropriate dress and conduct standards.
Qualifications
1 year of experience in landscaping or related tasks.
Valid Driver's License Clean Five-year(MVR)
Proficiency in using landscape maintenance tools and techniques.
Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisory instructions.
Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be subjected to strenuous work in adverse weather conditions, as well as exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, and noise.
Physical Demands
Working in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, and walking for extended periods.
Reaching overhead with hands and arms to hold, climb, or balance.
Using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Travel
Crew members travel from the main operations building to job sites in a company truck and back on a daily basis.
