We are looking for an energetic, analytical, detail oriented FTZ Analyst who will serve as an international expert on Foreign Trade Zone compliance and operations. You will oversee regulatory compliance abiding by U.S. Customs laws, legal regulations and requirements, and communicating professionally with internal teams, suppliers, external partners and occasionally U.S. Customs (CBP). Strong focus will be on leveraging the FTZ for cost savings, efficiency and maximizing FTZ benefits.Job Description

Manage cross-functional communications with internal departments, brokers, FTZ Administrator and other external partners to maintain U.S. Customs Compliance and organizational Central Directives.

Oversee compliant operations including: FTZ binder maintenance, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) initiatives and audits, quarterly import to export/inventory audits, documentation and procedures including but not limited to receiving, exports and scrapping and abiding by records retention procedures and requirements.

Identify, report and manage compliance risks and discrepancies using root cause analysis and tracking by utilizing 5 why’s and 8D formats and drive escalations and potential resolutions.

Ensure all team members are trained on U.S. Customs legal requirements related to FTZ and track their training progress.

Drive CIP initiatives to streamline processes, meet Central Directive, Warehousing and Customs requirements, identify and optimize FTZ processes, costs savings and other “zone” benefits including but not limited to reviewing/tracking weekly estimates, duties, CBP forms and customs clearances.

Keep abreast of key import/export compliance issues, industry news and trends, changes in regulations through research, industry news updates, attending trade compliance industry webinars, workshops, and conferences.

Manage onboarding and supporting new service providers relating to FTZ topics.

Collaborate with Duty Drawback Analyst to optimize drawback process and refunds utilizing the Integration Point (IP) FTZ management system.

Ad hoc requests and other Foreign Trade duties as assigned.

Requires small amount of domestic travel.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of FTZ experience, with knowledge of import/export trade compliance, warehousing and FIFO procedures.

Proficient in section 19 CFR Part 146 on Foreign Trade Zones, international shipping documents and INCOTERMS and Supply Chain Security/CTPAT requirements.

Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or willing to obtain certification.

Strong ability to multi-task, interpret, understand, and deal with multiple complex international trade matters simultaneously with tight deadlines.

Proficient in SAP ERP systems, MS Office Suite applications. Helpful Knowledge and Experience:

Experience with Bosch CMS (Container Management System).

Knowledge of ICRS (Inventory Control Record keeping System) and Inventory Control Best Practices within BBM warehousing.

Experience with internal Bosch and/or general FTZ scrapping and suspense policies and procedures.

Strong audit experience in matters of inventory discrepancies and shipping/receiving documentation.

Working knowledge and experience with Integration Point for FTZ’s and KPI reporting, ACE Reporting, and SAP GTS (Import & Export modules).

Proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI and other automation software or tools. Strong organization and project management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be diplomatic, maintain composure and be effective in influencing and building relationships with key internal and external partners.

Ability to work independently in a cross-functional dynamic team environment.
