Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. As a Paralegal, your primary responsibility will be managing legal documentation and client records, with a strong understanding of immigration and criminal law. This role is vital in supporting our legal team and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage and oversee client applications Accurately maintain and update client records Resolve client inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions Proficient in family-based immigration law practices Knowledgeable in criminal law practices Ability to handle volume/process/paperwork/filing related work in other practice areas Regularly interact with clients, displaying empathy and understanding Manage calendars and appointments for attorneys Handle document management with strict confidentiality.Requirements Possess strong skills in Calendar Management, ensuring effective scheduling and organization of meetings, deadlines, and tasks. Exceptional knowledge and understanding of Immigration Law, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practical situations. Proficient in Document Management, including filing, archiving, and retrieving legal documents in an efficient and timely manner. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Experience working as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court officials. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Familiarity with legal terminologies and procedures. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
