Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for a Sr. QA Engineer. This role is 100% remote and a great opportunity to work with a company that is bleed edge when it comes to technology.
Sr QA Engineer will be required to • Code Review / Unit testing, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline the validation process. • Participate in technical design walk thru, work with Software DevOps Engineers and review the code deployed in the test environment and assist in implementing CI/CD process. • Work with QA Team members to understand project features, review technical designs, and develop automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency. • Review both unit and manual tests to identify high-value areas for testing as well as areas where test coverage is lacking. • Develop in house tools that will expedite functional testing, for example build user friendly tools to generate test data for functional testing efficiently. • Provide guidance to automation team in resolving problems wrt implementing fully automated regression tests. • Perform manual functional test when required, understand the functionality, and come up with a technical / automated approach to replace the manual effort. • Continuously improve validation practices by utilizing technical skills and application knowledge
Qualifications Include
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience covering development / automation, or QA roles. • 3 years of application development or automation development or SDET experience • 3 years' experience with C# or VB Script or equivalent • Experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server. • Strong programming Skills (Interpretive languages such as Python, Perl, or PowerShell and Compiled languages such as C#, etc.
Preferred Qualifications • CI/CD Tools experience (Terraform, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GitHub, Bit Bucket, etc • Experience with Performance Testing and Mobile App Testing • Familiarity with Cypress / TestComplete for Automation testing. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and EKS • Experience working in an agile environment. • Experience with detail oriented software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
