DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Supply Technician to support the US Navy in Hanahan, SC.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the supply chain of NOTM/LAV project, including acquisition, distribution, and disposal of products and material.
Manage material using Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) tools.
Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies.
Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports.
Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements.
Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material.
Mentor team members and assist Logistics Lead in daily coordination.
Audit inventory and material handling processes
Collaborate with vendors to follow up on lead times of material ordered.
QualificationsRequired Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Five (5) years of experience, to include:
Supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility
Financial management
Logistics support for projects involving electronic / electrical and installation, ordering acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in CMPRO
Desired Qualifications:
Forklift certification.
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance. Active clearances accepted.
