The Warehouse and Delivery Technicians are individuals with some skills in shipping, freight, logistics, or other applicable industries capable of directly contributing during the operations process with some oversight. The Warehouse and Delivery Technicians report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and work generally under the supervision of Senior Warehouse and Delivery Techs. They focus on transferring merchandise from within warehouse buildings and delivery to customers (respectively). Delivery Technicians must maintain a valid SC or GA driverâs license. Delivery Techs must also be able to conduct themselves professionally around clients during home visits and be capable of setting up furniture properly with only some supervision. Warehouse and Delivery Techs should expand their expertise to qualify for ever increasingly more complex tasks and projects.
Core Competencies: Movement, storage, and/or delivery of furniture with minimal damage to the product; no damage to the physical property of clients. Good team work ; Good interpersonal skills to assist with interface with clients; Appropriately accounting for time; Constantly aware of surroundings.
