Warehouse Worker Job Description
Timeless Interiors is searching for a warehouse worker. We need an ambitious, self-motivated, strong, organized, and hardworking individual who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and occasional weekends. Employees must have a current driver’s license with reliable transportation. Occasional drug testing will be required. We require a warehouse worker who pays careful attention to detail, follows instructions, and follows through with all tasks. Salary depends on experience and aptitude ranging from $10-$15/hour
Responsibilities include:
Receive merchandise properly, carefully and accurately, unpack and assemble furniture items with care and speed, place furniture and mattress items to their proper location, pick merchandise from a list, and prepare items for showroom or delivery, identify damaged or missing items and notify supervisor immediately, help train and support new employees as they are hired, treat merchandise with care and concern at all time.
Job Skill Required:
Lift object up to 50 lbs. without assistance, ability to learn the proper use of a hand truck, climb a 30’ ladder, perform simple math operations, basic skills needed to use a tape measure, read numbers and match them against paperwork, basic knowledge of tools or willingness to learn.
