Experienced ROUTE DRIVER/MERCHANDISER wanted for established grocery distribution business.
Job Responsibilities:
Load truck from company warehouse
Pull order, deliver and merchandise company products to established grocery store accounts.
Maintain proper service of accounts on an assigned route via company delivery vehichle.
Maintain proper rotation/remove outdated products in a timely manner.
Use company handheld computer to accurately print and maintain invoices and other daily reports.
Report any maintenance vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Arrive to work in a timely manner, EARLY morning hours required (approx 5am - 1pm).
Requirements:
Prior experience delivering and merchandising grocery products to major supermarkets and retailers
Ability to work independently.
Good communication skills
Full time year round position. 5 days Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri and Sat.
Experience driving a 16' box truck (non CDL) and or pulling a similar size enclosed cargo trailer
Use of hand truck helpful. Some heavy lifting, kneeling and bending.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
