The Job
The primary duties of the ideal candidate would be keeping up with preventative maintenance including but not limited to:
Diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and equipment under minimal supervision.
Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
Air brake and mixer hydraulic repairs, A/C system, suspension repairs.
Able to troubleshoot electronic systems, perform basic SCR code diagnostics.
Have basic computer skills.
Be able to lubricate truck properly.

High school diploma or equivalent
Recommended but not required - six months to one-year related experience and or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
