Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Furniture Upholsterer and Seamstress to join our production team. This position involves working hands-on with various types of furniture and fabrics, performing upholstery, sewing, and restoration tasks. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong craftsmanship, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Upholster a variety of furniture pieces, including chairs, sofas, banquettes, and more
Measure, cut, and sew fabric for custom-fit applications
Replace padding, webbing, and fabric on old furniture frames
Use industrial sewing machines and other upholstery tools with precision
Assist with onsite installations and client deliveries, as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
Experience in furniture upholstery and/or sewing strongly preferred
Comfortable using industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift and move furniture pieces as needed
Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive team culture
