Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Role Definition:The Manufacturing Engineer will support the day-to-day needs, PFMEA, PPAP for process engineering assembly, improving reliability and manage the contractor needs to upgrade capital assets to the growing business. This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC. t.What you will do:
Identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to complex manufacturing operations equipment and processes to improve safety and environmental compliance.
Providing direct coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
Leading engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, and facilities to ensure processes are followed.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant program.
Lean Manufacturing: Working knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
Manufacturing Safety: Extensive experience using manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment, and site.
Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Extensive experience using organizational standards, procedures, and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Problem Management Process - MFG: Extensive experience using manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies, and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
Top Candidate will also have:
Experience managing multiple projects at a time.
Cast iron foundry knowledge or experience.
Understanding of PLC and robotics
Experience interpreting data and develop strategies based on information gathered.
