The Huawei Cloud & Technology Architect will provide architectural leadership for Huawei Cloud and related Huawei technologies across Standard Bank Group. The role is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving Huawei Cloud platform capabilities, standards, and adoption across the organisation. This includes the development of cloud architecture standards, target-state roadmaps, reference architectures, platform blueprints, and governance frameworks that enable secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant cloud services. A key accountability of the role is the ownership, design, governance, and continuous evolution of the Huawei Cloud Landing Zone, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, regulatory obligations, and strategic business objectives.The successful candidate will lead the establishment and adoption of cloud foundations, landing zones, operating models, platform guardrails, and cloud-native architecture practices across the Group. As a trusted advisor, they will provide architecture leadership and governance across strategic technology initiatives, drive the evolution of Huawei Cloud capabilities and related Huawei technologies, and define standards that enable consistent cloud adoption at scale. Working closely with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Engineering, Data, Risk, and Technology teams, the incumbent will ensure that Huawei Cloud services are implemented in a secure, well-governed, and sustainable manner that supports innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.
