A bit about the team and what you'll deliverReporting to the General Manager, MEA, we are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to join the team in South Africa. You will be responsible for creating new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing customer relationships and delivering customer solutions in the MEA region.As a Sales & Business Development Manager your key accountabilities will include:strategic partner prospects and where applicable support the establishment of these relationshipsnew potential clients through making connections, building relationships and establishing networksappropriate products/services to potential clients that meet their needsplans to create new business opportunities in the market and winning new customerskey deal preparation, presentation and leadership to attain a successful closecustomer and market insight to support the development of the wider go-to-market strategytranslated market feedback and collated data and information to provide guidance for our product strategiesinsight, support and collaboration across the EMEA team to maximise sales opportunities.Travel to customers in region as neededWho you areAs a Sales & Business Development Manager you are:able to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, small team environmentable to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical work to get things done quicklyexcellent in triage with the ability to prioritize projects and workentrepreneurial with an inherent sense of urgency; not afraid to take risks and get things done quickly while maintaining high standardscustomer and business orientedrigorous in following through business opportunities to conclusionprepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done (including travel)tenacious with a problem-solving approach to collaborationorganised, rigorous and autonomousable to build strong relationships with team members and clientsable to operate with integrity and transparency and conduct business in a proper mannerWhat makes you, youAs a Sales & Business Development Manager you have the following:Skillsstrong sales and refined negotiation skills with the ability to initiate relationships, assess partnership viability, work through deal cycles and close complex dealsstrong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to speak effectively to any audienceability to deliver engaging presentationsa natural self-starter who can work effectively on their own or as part of a wider teama proven hunter with a track record of breaking in to and scaling new accountsa team player with strong persuasion skills able to drive consensus across multiple stakeholdersSensitivity across cultures and maturity to deal with customers from varied cultural backgroundsExperiencepreferred experience in Security products and / or telecom devices/ servicesdemonstrable Business Development experience at a Technology companyexperience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)hands-on experience with multiple sales techniquesKnowledgemust have a strong understanding of mobile device ecosystem, service providers, and mobile app protectionMust have a strong understanding of security solutions
