Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Johns Island, South Carolina, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks including bank reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining the general ledger. Your role will also involve working with QuickBooks Online and performing account and credit card reconciliations. Responsibilities: Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks Carry out Bank Account Reconciliation tasks Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Perform account reconciliation activities Handle credit card reconciliation tasks Maintain and update the general ledger Prepare and post journal entries Assist with the month-end close process Oversee the reconciliation of three bank accounts, including an international one Monitor and manage customer credit applications and records. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management is essential. Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is required. Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently. Demonstrable experience with General Ledger operations. Familiarity with creating and maintaining Journal Entries. Proven experience with Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks. Skilled in Account Reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation is mandatory. Knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation procedures. Familiarity with Quickbooks Online for accounting and financial tasks.
