As a Senior Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies for a variety of underground mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This includes:Drilling Equipment (Jumbo and Long Hole)Loading EquipmentHauling EquipmentAncillary EquipmentYour goal is to ensure planned maintenance and component replacements meet performance targets such as equipment availability and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPlanning & SchedulingSchedule and plan routine maintenance in collaboration with Production and Maintenance teams.Track component age and condition using the Pronto CMMS.Create and manage Bills of Materials (BoMs).Maintenance Strategy & ExecutionMaintain accurate routine maintenance data in Pronto.Create and manage work orders and requisitions.Expedite parts and labor as needed.Budgeting & Cost ControlAssist in developing the annual budget using Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB).Provide cost and component updates for budget reforecasting.Reporting & AnalysisReport monthly on key performance indicators: availability, MTBF, component usage, and cost.Analyze historical data to support lifecycle planning and budgeting.Collaboration & ComplianceLiaise with suppliers and contractors.Ensure compliance with company and government policies.Provide input and adhere to the Oceana Asset Management Framework (AMF).
