Direct Hire Process Technician!2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm)3rd shift (10pm-6:30am)$24-32hrRole is to improve equipment productivity and work quality by ensuring that the process equipment settings and adjustments are optimized and maintained for high through-put and quality with low waste. This role also maintains liaison and coordination between the operations and maintenance organizations. The process technician is the main contact when the process or process equipment is not performing within specifications.Description:
Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success.
Responsible for line equipment changeovers and adjustments during production runs.
Works closely with production and scheduling to prepare and set up equipment for future production needs to reduce potential delays and maximize uptime and availability.
Works closely with the Process Engineering Team to improve processes and reduce waste.
Proactively cooperate with the quality department to prevent quality incidents, reduction, and elimination of non-conformities in the process and product integrity.
Performs periodic audits of machine settings, process controls settings, work instructions, manuals throughout the manufacturing lines.
Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, profitability, material utilization, and tool usage.
Assists Maintenance Technicians in installation, debugging, repair and Preventative Maintenance of production equipment.
Analyzes scrap (analysis of yellow bins) and waste from the process.
