Johnny D's Waffles is looking for a reliable full time buster to join the team. This position is year round and full time.
The Busser supports the Front of House team by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready dining area. This includes setting and resetting tables, clearing and cleaning tables, and adhering to all sanitation and safety standards. This position is 7:30-2:30 daily
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare the dining room by cleaning and setting tables, arranging condiments, napkins, utensils, and decorations.
Protect the safety of guests and the establishment by adhering to sanitation and safety policies at all times.
Maintain table settings by responding promptly to guest spills or special needs.
Support wait staff by restocking trash liners, and bus stations as needed.
Clear tables, chairs, and dining areas promptly and efficiently.
Close the dining facility by cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping or mopping the floors, and removing trash and recyclables.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of FOH operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Prior restaurant or bussing experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Service-oriented, with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry bus tubs for extended periods.
Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
