Job Overview
Seeking a motivated and dependable full-time Laborer to join our landscaping and concrete curbing installation team. This role involves the installation of softscape features and concrete curbing in residential and commercial environments.
Duties:
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, rocks, artificial turf, grading, leveling, etc., and concrete curbing borders around landscape features.
- Prepare sites and set up forms and molds for concrete curbing pours.
- Prepare sites by digging, grading, and leveling using mechanical knowledge and construction techniques.
- Operate power tools and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the client's specifications.
- Lift, load, and transport materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in landscaping, concrete work, or general labor preferred.
-Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of landscape techniques.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Lift, load, and transport materials as needed.
- Experience driving a truck and trailer. Any equipment experience, including Bobcat / Dingo, is a huge plus.
- Valid or relevant construction or landscaping certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment related to landscaping and concrete installation.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Must be dependable.
- Valid Driver's Licence
Full-time, Monday through Friday; 7:30 am-4 pm, no weekends.
