We are currently seeking a Massage Therapist to join our team. Compensation is commission based with guarantee pay of $9 / hour plus company benefits and perks.
What you’ll do
- Provide 25, 55 or 80 minute massages to clients by appointment
- Consult with clients regarding service offerings and determine which massages would
benefit them most
- Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
- Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
- Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
- Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized spa facility.
- Set up spa and work stations, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the shift.
- Assist with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions.
- Sterilize equipment.
Skills and Position Requirements
- State certification for Massage Therapy
- Commitment to on-going annual education
