Position Summary:
Elite Coastal Landscaping, located in Little River, SC, is a premier landscape and hardscape design and installation company. We’re looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee our landscape and hardscape design-build projects from start to completion. You will manage client relationships, installer coordination, and on-site implementation, ensuring beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that exceed client expectations are done right and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee residential and commercial landscape and hardscape projects, including patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, walkways, pavers, water features, plantings, pools, fencing, irrigation systems, and more. We do not do lawn maintenance.
Manage the full project lifecycle: Once the project is approved and the work begins, you will oversee the timeline until completion and inspect the finished product to ensure it meets the client's satisfaction.
You should know how to use a smartphone or tablet and be willing to learn basic project management software. You should also be able to take pictures and short videos of each stage of the building process.
Collaborate with design teams, sales teams, on-site workers, warehouse managers, and delivery drivers to ensure feasibility and timelines.
Once the job has been approved, you will serve as the client's primary point of contact throughout the project. I will maintain excellent communication and professionalism, working closely with the sales and estimators.
Supervise field crews, delivery drivers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and timely delivery of any products needed.
Work with the sales team to track and change material cost orders using project management software.
Coordinate inspections, permits, and HOA approvals as required.
Identify and solve problems in real time to keep projects moving smoothly. Be able to solve customer complaints while overseeing jobs and quickly fix any changes or errors.
Ensure the work site is left clean and all leftover materials are removed once completed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction, landscape, and hardscape industry.
Proven knowledge of overseeing job sites, construction materials, and installation techniques.
Strong leadership, organizational, and client communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans, construction drawings, and specs.
Knowledge of local codes, zoning regulations, and best practices for coastal landscapes is highly desirable.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
