Need immediate availability! We are a beach wheelchair rental company seeking independent contractors to deliver the scooters to and from hotels and condos along the shore, between North Myrtle and Murrells Inlet, using your truck, van, OR trailer. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO MAKE MONEY ON THE SIDE DRIVING YOUR OWN TRUCK, VAN, OR TRAILER! We have ATV ramps in the storage unit which you can borrow for deliveries if you drive a pick up or a van.
THIS IS A CONTACTLESS DELIVERY PROCESS. You don’t even need to interact with the customers, which makes the hours of running your route very flexible. You will be offered a set of deliveries via text message, and if you accept the route, you can move them any time in the evening or in the morning, whatever time frame works for you. We deliver them outside, and lock the key in the lock box on the back of the wheelchair to make this a contactless process.
PAY - $25/hr + $.50/mile. The clock/mileage can be billed starting 10 minutes before the first stop and ends 10 minutes after the last stop. In other words, you track your time, and you are paid for 20 minutes worth of 'commute-to' time/distance in addition to the pay while actively delivering wheelchairs.
The independent contractor must own and drive a pick up truck or a van, OR you can tow a trailer behind another vehicle if that's what you have.
