DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst to provide day-to-day, onsite operational logistics maintenance and support of electronic systems, workstations, and servers for the US Navy’s Computer Network Defense team in North Charleston, SC .SAIC is looking for a motivated, adaptable individual with a background in DoD Logistics, willing and able to help on mission critical operations in support of NIWC LANT.Job Description:
Provide Provisioning Support to create and submit XRIC/XSFT requests, work with NAVSUP to create/submit provisioning work packages to include revisions, upgrades, and new work files into Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Integrated Logistics Information Tool (ILIT).
This position will be responsible for maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track inventory across multiple builds and variants, organize hardware parts and integral build components, and account for inbound/outbound equipment and material.
Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning in support of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Field Change Reports (FCRs).
Tracking and analysis of End of Life (EOL)/End of Support (EOS) and DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages) for project assets.
Perform Inventory control and maintain project assets (GFE/GFM) in CMPRO and Navy ERP in accordance with Command FIAR compliance.
Travel: Anticipated travel is up to 10%, both CONUS and OCONUS. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.QualificationsRequired Education/Experience:
Bachelor's and three (3) years or more logistics experience; or 7 years of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or related ILS experience with a GED/HS degree.
Required skills:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
Provisioning experience with updating nomenclature, XSFT, CDMD-OA, ILS Certification, TMINS, maintenance and install work files.
Proficiency with CMPRO or DoD inventory / logistics management tools for input and tracking of material.
Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Word).
Experience with researching equipment and software for quotes for building and maintaining a Bill of Materials (BOM).
Proficiency of prioritizing tasks and strong ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to plan, form, maintain, and present large amounts of data to appropriate parties in required timeframes.
Required clearance:
Active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired skills
Professional Logistics certifications.
Experience with Navy Logistics programs.
