The Baker is responsible for producing high-quality breads and pastries that reflect the standards of a world-class kitchen. This role requires strong technical skill, consistency, and a passion for traditional baking and laminated doughs.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and bake a variety of artisan breads, including sourdoughs, yeasted breads, and specialty loavesExecute laminated doughs for pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, danish, and seasonal viennoiserieMaintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all baked goodsFollow established recipes while contributing creativity and seasonal ideas when appropriateManage fermentation, proofing, and baking schedules with precisionMaintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environmentCollaborate closely with the pastry and culinary teams to support restaurant and special event needsQualifications:Proven experience as a professional baker, preferably in a fine dining or high volume environmentStrong knowledge of bread baking techniques and laminated dough productionUnderstanding of fermentation, dough handling, and temperature controlAbility to work early mornings and weekends as requiredAttention to detail, organization, and a commitment to excellenceCulinary education preferred but not required with equivalent experienceWe’re looking for someone who is:Committed to quality serviceAvailable, ESPECIALLY weekends and holidaysHAS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE – GREAT WORK ETHIC We are an equal opportunity employer, participate in E-Verify, and offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.Job Type: Full-time
