As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.This relief shift position will see you in a leadership role, that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, where you will lead, motivate and develop our high performing team across a number of Port Kembla Warehouse sites.  This 11 month fixed term opportunity will support Shift Relief (covering annual leave, flexis and sick leave) and will require a degree of flexibility to cover day /night shifts rosters. This role will generally work Monday - Friday dayshifts except for when working a relief roster where weekend work is applicable from time to time. What Will You Do?Reporting to the Operations Leader, you will demonstrate your leadership skills and be responsible for:leading the shift operations to achieve business targets and ensure operations are within standardsleading projects to improve safety and operations within the Port Kembla warehousesensure safety standards and operating costs are adhered to, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identifiedsupervising the operational activities and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellenceAs a shift relief,  you will be required to work both day work and shift work (7 day x 12 hour day /night shifts roster).  You will be based across various Port Kembla Warehouse sites.More about youAs an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will demonstrate a willingness to lead and develop teams in achieving team success.
