ROLE OVERVIEWWe're seeking a Data enthusiast to transform trialing data into insights and information that support sound business decision makingacoss for our Crop Protection Development activities. The incumbent will have key focus areas i.e. Product Biology Support, Trialing Data Management, Knowledge sharing and continuous improvement and Acting as In-country representative within the AME CU. The main objectives of the role are: Provide E2E data quality control for both (in-house) IH and External trialing activities and all data capture related or other associated activities over the season, ensure continuous data monitoring for completeness, conclusiveness and for other qualitative measures and KPIs as well such as timely delivery (with focus on IH). Support the Crop Protection Development (CPD) Team by coordination and implementation of Biology activities associated with in country project development, registration and launches; and support the Biological Dossier Specialists in preparation and compilation of Biological Assessment Dossier (BAD) and supporting internal reports for report back meetings and AME TRM Act as technical expert for field trial data systems and processes in service of trial & data quality. Sharing good practice, managing the flow of data and monitoring its completeness and quality.  Drive continuous improvement in operations, CPD systems, tools & processes from the field to the dossier with a strong focus on trial data quality & project delivery.   Support digital transformation and automation of data in all areas e.g. Rolling out new equipment etcData storage i.e. REPORT BACK MEETINGS (RBM) ppt, soil analyses, nutrient, photo report, protocol link etcACCOUTABILITIES Product Biology SupportProject and resource planningProvide consistency and quality of data in/from planning tool in coordination with Product Biologist and Dossier Specialist Provide analysis and guidance for effective resource allocation (Prioritizer) Monitor in-season delivery and quality of trial data – focus on inhouse trials. Support Product Biologist in data mining for in country RBMs, Technical Conferences and AME Technical Review Meeting (TRM) Participate in main technical meetings (Portfolio meetings, Commercial Unit meetings, results meetings, planning meetings) Support adjacent activities, e.g., resistance monitoring activities, deployment of sensors, new trial types, EZ Capture, NDVI sensors, weather stations etc.Support CPD Data Specialist in BITS Providing end-user training for CPD community Support biological dossier preparationProvide data mining for the BAD in accordance with requirements from Act 36 to support Regulatory Dossier Specialist and Regulatory team (results meeting, planning meeting, launch documents etc.) Ensure 2nd level data quality check in accordance with requirements of the Biological Dossier  Ensure uploading of reports in support of BAD   Peer review of contracted BAD for "FORMATTING" in accordance with agreed timelines and project plan. Liaise with CPD Regulatory Specialist and Regulatory team for individual Biology dossier build and submission timeline checks  Trialing Data Management Trialing data quality & deliveryIn-season trial data flow coordination, including publication of protocols and monitoring of data delivery, regularly in season as the trial progresses and at interim and final report dates. Ensure timely delivery of data to end users  Driving improvements in trial data quality with optimal use of the system possibilities and automations (Study Rulesets, validations, ARM improvements) and active monitoring of data quality and feedback to trialists.  Assessing data quality in trial reports, ensuring completeness & accuracy of data in the course and at the end of the season  Managing specific requests and corrections in line with GEP Regulation Knowledge sharing and continuous improvementKey user of R&D tools (e.g., Bits suite) Ensure a good technical information flow within the PB team, and other relevant functions within or outside of CPD Pursue opportunities for improvement in processes, tools, ways-of-working in close collaboration with the BITS Platform team and other CPD functions Support digital transformation and automation in all areas Be open, proactively look for best practices and methods which can help improving data collection and quality In-country representativeact as in-country representative for BITS platform Collecting and defending BA needs and requirement for digital initiatives and further development of Syngenta BITS & ARM tools (with support from CPD Data Specialist) Working closely with other AME CPD Data managers / representatives within the product team to optimize data qualtiy Assisting the BITS team and Subject Matter Experts, by contributing to the definition of solutions and prioritization of BITS improvements and bug fixes Rolling-out and training of new systems, improvements, and associated ways-of-working (with support from CPD Data Specialist)
