Reporting to the Commercial Director, key responsibilities include: Stay informed on market trends, maintain a library of sales resources, and conduct ongoing market researchPromote and solicit business through sales trips, community networking, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersOversee internal promotions, ensuring all marketing materials are up-to-date and aligned with management standardsCoordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping Departments to manage room reservations and customer inquiriesDevelop and execute direct mail campaigns in conjunction with the Public Relations Department to promote hotel facilities and eventsAssist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targetsTrain and mentor junior sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques and customer relationship managementAnalyze sales data and prepare regular reports for the Commercial Director, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvementCollaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize occupancy ratesRepresent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the property's network and generate new business opportunities
