Administrative Assistant

Description We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to bolster our operations in the Machinery/Worktools industry. Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The successful individual will be tasked with various administrative duties, including email management, data entry, and assistance with company research. Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound calls to support customer service efforts Manage email correspondence efficiently, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly Assist with research on potential companies for acquisition, including document printing and analysis Input data into spreadsheets accurately to maintain up-to-date records Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to perform various tasks Schedule appointments as required, ensuring an organized and efficient workflow Provide administrative support for various tasks, including document printing and mass emailing Utilize problem-solving skills to find necessary information and perform tasks Maintain customer credit records meticulously Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in answering inbound and making outbound calls in a professional manner. Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries effectively. Capable of performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent email correspondence skills, able to respond promptly to inquiries and maintain professional communication. Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars and coordinate meetings. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. High level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive information.
