Job Description:
Prepare, review and compile Shipment Pack for Export, appropriate documents (i.e. Shipment Summary, commercials invoices, Packing Slips, Manifest etc.) ensuring files contain all necessary copies, are accurate and balanced
Ensure any shipping discrepancies are handled promptly and accurately
Receive and track bookings/shipments, keep updated log of shipment status/delays, dispatch for delivery, collect, allocate shipment cost on file
Comply with all company business process guidelines
Receive and reconcile incorrect billings with vendors and overseas offices
Keep Freight Costs aligned with margin
Assist sales department and colleagues in compiling quotes
Dispatch freight for delivery with correct manifests, maintain communication and accountability of all inbound and outbound freight
First line of Receipt, Tracking all packages that enter Facility
Create UPS/FedEx/DHL labels for outbound
Create LTL, FTL Shipments through Freight Broker
Capture Shipping Notification (Inbound Delivery) in SAP
Other duties as requested
Strong Excel Proficiency being able to compare 2 data sets against each other for accuracy.
Qualifications:-Must have Microsoft Excel experience - pivot tables and v look ups -Proficiency in material management systems and/or ERP systems.
