Utilising a solid understanding of procurement practices, export / import controls and new market expansion, the Legal Counsel will contribute to Montu’s continued growth and success with a focus on commercial contracting, and advertising in support of wholesale, procurement, and partnerships across Australia and international markets.In conjunction with the legal team the role will work on a variety of innovative legal issues across the company leveraging expertise, good judgement, and strong business sense to assess and mitigate legal risk while finalising contracts at a fast pace.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with vendors, customers, and partners for the purchase and distribution of regulated therapeutic goods, including intercompany transactions. Respond promptly to legal questions and requests from various stakeholders in the business.Keep current on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations, including import / export regulations for therapeutic goods and healthcare services regulatory requirements. Assist with corporate regulatory requirements including company secretary work.Establish templates and training modules to support the business to continue to grow at pace.Suggest and assist in implementing improvements to existing processes and enablement resources.
