Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Construction/Contractor industry, located in Taylors, South Carolina, United States. The key role of this position will be to ensure smooth administrative operations within our team, with responsibilities ranging from answering inbound calls, to data entry and customer service.Responsibilities: Respond to inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all customer queries are addressed promptly. Collect and input customer information into the system for roof repair requests. Monitor office and personal emails, ensuring timely responses and appropriate action. Order office supplies and manage inventory, ensuring the office is well-stocked and operations run smoothly. Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools for various tasks. Handle invoicing for materials, labor, and residential customers. Assist in IT system back-up tasks as needed. Schedule appointments and ensure the conference room is set up for meetings. Manage mailings and client gift orders, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries or requests Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently Proven experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective email correspondence Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively Prior experience in an administrative role within the construction or contractor industry is desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
