Join the SGS team in Moomba, SA, as a full-time CNC Machinist. This is a FIFO position with dual departure locations from Brisbane or Adelaide. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing machining duties on CNC or manually controlled machines as per requirements, ensuring precision and quality in every task.Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:Carry out machining as per engineering drawing and/or instruction.Undertake shift work to meet the needs of the operations.Report machine and infrastructure faults and equipment problems.Complete product, repair and inspection documentation in accordance with our Quality Management System and corporate policies.Perform fitting, maintenance and general duties around the facility.Maintain and create accurate records on a daily basis.Accurate completion of job/time/clocking cards is essential.Complete month end and invoicing responsibilities.Controlling of stock and steel. Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and safe work practices across our operating centres.Responsible for own safety and health at work, and for others at work.Must wear PPE, clothing and safety equipment as instructed.Undertake onsite training in all facets of machining as directed by the Plant Foreman or assigned mentor.
