A bit about the team and what you'll deliverWe are seeking a highly motivated Partner Manager to drive growth through our reseller network and leverage relationships with OEM mobile device partners to grow our joint business and generate referrals within the South African region. This role is key to expanding Trustonic’s presence, forging strategic partnerships, and enabling sales success through our partner ecosystem.As the Partner Manager your key responsibilities will include:Managing Existing Partnerships: Overseeing current partner relationships to ensure they are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the company's objectives.Developing New Partnerships: Identifying, recruiting, and negotiating deals with new partners to expand the company's reach and capabilities.Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Working with sales, marketing, product, and development teams to develop partnership strategies and ensure successful integration and execution of partnership initiatives.Driving Partner Engagement: Creating and implementing strategies to engage partners, including onboarding, training, and co-marketing campaigns, to maximize mutual benefits.Monitoring Performance: Tracking and analysing partnership performance, ensuring alignment with business goals, and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.Strategic partner prospecting: grow Trustonic’s partner ecosystem within strategic markets within the territory. Regional Strategy: Understanding regional macro and micro channel structures and routes to market, total addressable market, analysis of regional and country opportunities linked to partners and potential customers Who you areAs a Partner Manager you are:able to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, small team environmentable balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical work to get things done quicklyexcellent in triage with the ability to prioritize projects and workentrepreneurial with an inherent sense of urgency; not afraid to take risks and get things done quickly while maintaining high standardscustomer and business orientedprepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done (including travel)tenacious with a problem-solving approach to collaborationorganised, rigorous and autonomousable to build strong relationships with team members and clientsoperate with integrity and transparency and conduct business in a proper mannertravel within the South African region is required for this role, with a minimum of 40% domestic travel.What makes you, youAs a Partner Manager you must have the following:SkillsRelationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with partners.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and negotiation. Strategic Thinking: Capability to align partner activities with the company's strategic goals.Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts and agreements.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to make informed decisions.Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.Project Management: Skills to manage multiple partners and initiatives simultaneously.Market Knowledge: Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and partner success.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges.ExperiencePartner Management, Channel Management and/or Business Development experience.Experience working within the mobile device, OEM, telecommunications or distribution ecosystem.Understanding of OEM ranging, sell-in, sell-through and sell-out models.Exposure to carrier and/or retail channels.Experience in managing projects or coordinating cross-functional teams.Proven experience managing strategic commercial partnerships.KnowledgeStrong understanding of mobile device ecosystem, service providers, and mobile app protection.Strong understanding of security solutions.Candidates should ideally demonstrate knowledge of the South African OEM landscape and mobile device distribution channels.
