As the Training Officer, you will be responsible for executing training plans, facilitating learning and development interventions and the development of Unit Standards based training material that complies with appropriate legislations.  Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:Conduct training and development needs analysis on an annual and ad hoc basis to establish the nature, complexity, and priority of training needs of employees in these departmentsAssist Learning & Development Manager with analysis of new or revised training and development interventions required by strategic and operational plansDirect responsibility of effectively managing the record keeping of learning and development systems, both physical and electronically.Develop and co-ordinate learner training programme as well as mentor and coach learners as requiredFacilitate Learning and Development interventions and manage the induction programme and process for the colliery employees as well as contractors.Maintaining up-to date and accurate engineering training matrixesThis role is in the Human Resource Department and is at a C4 level reporting to the Training Manager.
