Job DescriptionLead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Please include this Job ID: 169342 in the subject line of the email.ResponsibilitiesThe Oracle Food and Beverage strategy team is looking for a self-propelled, hands market segment leader for the hotel restaurant industry to help bring new solutions to market that align with our business strategy and our end-customers known, and unknown needs.As part of the strategy team, you will interact with multiple levels of the organization from executives to product managers, business operations, marketing, and field-sales as well as customers, media and industry analysts. You will also cultivate evangelists for your market at Oracle across all areas of the business ensuring a consistent message for the industry regardless of who is delivering it.You will own your market holistically – from competitive and win/loss analysis, value proposition and messaging to customer advisory board and user group engagement. You will work with the market strategy team to execute research, analysis, and diagnostic work and develop standards for market analysis including GTM strategy efficacy, product fit and competitive position.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:7+ years of relevant experience, including +2 years of cross-functional product marketing, product management or market strategy experience

Ability to develop actionable, data-driven recommendations and translate them into clear insights for executive decision-making

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Ability to navigate highly matrixed organization and build rapport with internal and external business partners

Solid organizational, planning and tracking skills

Ability to produce high-quality internal and external deliverables for executive audiences

Creativity and independent judgment in identifying and recommending process improvement

Resourceful and thoughtful use of company assets (data, tools)

Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and function in a fast-paced, complex environment

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required

Emphasis will be given to the candidate who demonstrates productive experience in the following areas:Market research and analysis

Competitive analysis, SWOT and building tools for field enablement

Business justification for new product build or buy

Value proposition, product messaging and roadmap development, and articulation to various internal and external stakeholders

Pricing elasticity, monetization and profitability models

Demonstrated success with cross-functional business projects

Demonstrated success managing multiple projects/programs concurrently

Demonstrated success prioritizing workload for self and holding others accountable for their commitments

Demonstrated stakeholder management at senior levels of the organization

Travel Component: Minimal. Approx. 10% travel within the United States and Europe may be required to successfully fill this role.Po sition Location:Role is based in North America and requires close coordination with virtual team.
