Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.The National Sales Director, Sports Medicine Capital, US Sales, reports to the VP, US Sports Medicine Commercial US DPS. You will lead work to drive and align with senior leadership of DePuy Synthes and JJMD businesses to accelerate our Arthoscopy Equipment Capital offering. This role will lead US Sports Medicine Capital Sales, partnering closely the Commercial and Marketing Teams; directly accountable for PUREVUE and Sports Capital portfolio success. Qualified candidates will live anywhere in the United States or preference for proximity to Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Warsaw, IN, or West Chester, PA.Key Responsibilities:

Lead DePuy Synthes’ entry / growth into a $1.7B Arthroscopy surgical solutions market.

Demonstrate Arthoscopy capital product and procedural knowledge, clinical and procedural excellence, product expertise, and new product introduction expertise.

Possess and exhibit vast understanding of the changing market dynamics in healthcare and understand the responsibility and requirements on the organization with a specific focus on Health Economics and Trends, Customer Segmentation, customer data knowledge and capital purchasing processes within the MedTech space.

Develop, mentor, lead, and engage sales teams to provide value and leadership, which includes presenting, influencing, and articulating comprehensive DePuy Synthes solutions. Drive critical partnerships across all DPS Business Unit sales teams

Empower the US Commercialization team to develop pricing, contracting and deal making strategies

Collaborate with finance partners to ensure financial commitments are met. Including direct responsibility for sales, growth, income targets to improve gross profits, profitability, asset management, and budget management.

Assess ongoing customer feedback captured to influence strategic sales decisions, marketing strategy and portfolio strategy.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.§ Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.§ Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).§ This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.§ Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

BA/BS required

5 years of proven success in a commercial leadership role including Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy

5 years working in the MedTech / Enabling technologies market with Capital product experience

5 years leading sales teams at the managerial level

A strong understanding of commercial strategy development and new go-to-market models

Experience carrying out large scale commercial launches

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to craft, structure, and lead projects

Demonstrated leadership capability including leadership through change

Track record of success working within a sophisticated organizational environment; enterprise mentality decision-making

Excellent understanding of customer, business intelligence and industry trends

Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management along with documented sales achievement(s)

Demonstrated track record as a Talent Champion in mentoring, developing, retaining, acquiring and building a diverse pipeline of future talent

Excellent listening, written, and oral communications skills; excellent organizational skills along with the ability to make sales presentations with positive results

Preferred

Strong business & financial competence in understanding the needs and priorities of the broader business
