Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role operates within the detail oriented services industry and will focus on overseeing the company's accounting functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing the company's books for audits, developing new SOPs, and managing direct reports.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the company's accounting functions Supervise and provide guidance to two direct reports Prepare the company's books for auditing processes Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Utilize accounting software systems for various financial tasks Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Conduct monthly-end financial closes Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions Ensure strong systems skills are applied efficiently Prepare the company for significant growth over the next few years. Requirements Proven experience in managing accounting functions effectively Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Solid knowledge and understanding of auditing procedures Experience in overseeing Month End Close processes Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and leadership abilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Relevant detail oriented certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
