job title: Installer / Woodworker
Haskel Sears Design is hiring a new woodworker / installer for a hybrid position. Experience working in a cabinet shop or in finish/trim carpentry is a plus. Starting pay based on experience with an evaluation for a pay raise at 60 days. We are a full service general contractor that specializes in custom doors, cabinetry, furniture, and millwork for commercial spaces. This is a great opportunity those with carpentry or woodworking experience to master their skills in a fast paced commercial shop.
Your responsibilities would be to:
- Efficiently and safely build projects from raw materials to finished pieces with guidance from the shop manager.
-Identify supplies and equipment and hardware needed.
-Read and understand shop drawings.
-Understand and execute cut lists.
-Communicate project details to coworkers.
-Keep projects on schedule and track time spent using Quickbooks Time.
-Assist in solving problems in the shop and in the field.
-Identify all tools, supplies, and labor needed for installation.
-Install projects properly, efficiently, and cleanly.
Pay is given as a wide range based on experience, and pay is evaluated after 60 days with the company.
